Extended Trailer for Better Call Saul

We know that some Breaking Bad characters will show up on Better Call Saul. We also know that some won't. Check out this extended trailer.

Bits and pieces about Better Call Saul keep drifting out in advance of its February 8th premiere. Actually, it's a two night premiere, stretching into Monday, February 9th, but that's besides the point. But any time you're in prequel territory, certain questions are raised, namely, how many familiar faces from Breaking Bad can we expect to see in the new show?

Well, some, but not too many. Speaking at TCA, Better Call Saul executive producer Peter Gould stated definitively that "Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will not appear in season one." That seems about right. It would be quite a leap to get either of these guys, especially a young Jesse Pinkman, shoehorned into the show. "Jesse would be in middle school," joked Saul himself, Bob Odenkirk.

Vince Gilligan added that “Walter White had a very existential and immediate problem — he was dying of cancer...We didn’t know how long he would have. We don’t have that issue with Jimmy.”

And now we have a solid two minutes of Better Call Saul to show you. Check it out:

We'll be reviewing every episode of Better Call Saul, and if more information becomes available, we'll let you know.
