Syfy just keeps rolling 'em out, don't they? They've finally embraced the "sci" and "fi" part of their phonetically spelled network name, and they're going after it pretty hard. The Expanse looks like the slickest, most traditionally "spacey" of their upcoming slate, and its first trailer is impressive.

Here's the official synopsis:
A thriller set two hundred years in the future, The Expanse follows the case of a missing young woman who brings a hardened detective and a rogue ship’s captain together in a race across the solar system to expose the greatest conspiracy in human history.
So, a little space opera mixed with some hard-boiled detective fiction, perhaps? There's some zero-g sex for good measure, too. That's Thomas Jane as police officer Josephus Miller, and your eyes do not deceive you, as that is the multi-talented Jonathan Banks at the end. The Expanse will arrive later this year.
