Check out the new promo for The Strain Season 2, which shows that there is something rotten in the New York Big Apple. Well, it’s safe to say we’re well past the stage of nobody believing them that there is something wrong. In the new promo for The Strain, Manhattan is overrun by the Master, and as such looks like one rotten Big Apple. Battles beneath Lady Liberty and flying vampires near Wall Street? There must be a metaphor in here, somewhere… With the second season of The Strain coming this summer, the battle between humans and vampires continue as Ephraim Goodweather and Nora Martinez of the CDC search desperately for a cure for the virus before it spreads across the entire United States. The Strain is created by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan from their own series of novels and it stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Mia Maestro, and Kevin Durand. The series will be back for 13 new episodes this summer.
