Resident Evil: The Final Chapter to Film in August
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the sixth entry, has a production start date, and Milla Jovovich is happy to reveal as to why..... Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has been a long time coming. Despite being the ostensible end of Sony Screen Gems’ franchise based on the Capcom game series (at least until the inevitable reboot), the film that’s also known as Resident Evil 6 was supposed to shoot last year. However, the delay was quite understandable when Milla Jovovich announced via Facebook that she was pregnant. Now the action star has taken to social media again to reveal that production on the sixth Resident Evil picture is well underway, and that it will begin filming in August. I'm really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming "Resident Evil- The Final Chapter" in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously (get ready wardrobe department for Alice's new "easy mama access" costume;)) so I don't want to be on any extreme diets to get ready to go back to "action hero" mode! The news is in conjunction with the announcement that there are only 10 weeks left until delivery. We wish Jovovich and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson the best in expanding their beautiful family. As far as expanding their Resident Evil series, well let’s just say its impending final curtain is another reason that Albert Wesker should be passing out cigars…
