Dead Rising: Watchtower Gets a Trailer
The Dead Rising movie is definitely alive. Here's the first trailer of the low-budget zombie flick! Dead Rising: Watchtower is one of those video game-to-film adaptations that makes perfect sense. The source material, the video game series from Capcom, would definitely make for a good low-budget zombie movie. Well, Legendary Pictures seems to agree, and will release the digital film on March 27. Here's the first trailer:
Comedian Rob Riggle has been cast as series protagonist Frank Poole, which is perfect. Those one-liners are just spectacular. I'm guessing he'll have to drop in and save the day with his ridiculous custom-made weapons. If there aren't any ridiculous weapons, it's not a real Dead Rising movie, after all!
Dead Rising: Watchtower stars Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen, Dennis Haysbert, Harley Morenstein, Keegan Connor Tracy, Aleks Paunovic, Rob Riggle and Jesse Metcalfe. It will release on Crackle.
