Dying Light Launch Trailer
Dying Light arrives tomorrow. To get you warmed up, here's the launch trailer!
Dying Light drops tomorrow to a next-gen console and PC near you. High-flying, dynamic, zombie-killing action awaits you! The latest offering from Techland, makers of Dead Island, wanted to make a zombie game that was a bit more fluid and fast-paced this time around.
I played the game a bit at last year's E3 and was very impressed with the early demo. It's less zombie mass murder than Dead Island. You have to be more calculating and strategic than that. It's a big change of pace for the developer, but a good one. I think fans of the zombie genre will be pleasantly surprised.

There are two exciting elements introduced in Dying Light. One is the difference between the daytime and nighttime levels in the game. Depending on what time it is, the zombies get way more deadly. In my experience, it's a better idea to avoid the creatures of the night altogether. The other is the multiplayer, which is a nice bit of fun for fans of the classic Left 4 Dead. I'll also note that Dead Island 2, which is being developed by Yager instead of Techland, will also feature multiplayer horde mode.
