The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt's release date may have been pushed back to May, much to the dismay of eager fans, but it's clear that this extra time is being put to good use. The third game in the critically acclaimed Witcher saga is set to be the largest yet, with claims it's going to be even bigger than the mighty Skyrim in scope. That's a bold statement.
Below you can see some new gameplay footage of the game, and I think you'll agree, not only is the game looking very impressive, but it also looks like it's going to make good on the developer's promises, with a massive adventure in varied locations, and the series' trademark user direction, allowing players to greatly affect how the story unfolds. We also get to see plenty of character interaction and combat. Oh, and Geralt also gets a bath and a shave.
This final part of the trilogy sees Geralt's story come to a close, and is a personal journey for the elite Witcher, as he searches for his lost love, Yennifer, in a land full of monsters and political struggle.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is due for release on May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
