Five Nights At Freddy's 3 trailer

Love it, or hate it, the Five Night's At Freddy's series is hugely popular, and it's coming back for more...

With little more than a few barley animated images, creepy sound effects, and a couple of jump scares, the Five Nights At Freddy's series has become something of a phenomenon. Made famous by endless YouTube let's plays, the puppet-stocked horror game is loved by many, with ongoing debates about the true nature of the game's back story. It's a creepy, if simple game that makes the most out of its meagre game mechanics to create a title that's actually a lot of fun.

The first game was an instant hit, again, largely because of YouTube, and a second, more ambitious game arrived, which has also gone down very well with YouTubers and fans, so much so we're in for another round, as Five Nights At Freddy's 3 is coming.

Here we have the first teaser trailer for the game, which no longer takes place in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but is instead set some 30 years after the events of previous games, in a horror attraction based upon the ill-fated pizzeria.

It looks to be a much more visually advanced game than previous entries, but will keep the same camera-watching gameplay, with a creepy new animatronic, and no doubt a whole heap of new jump scares to keep you on the edge of your seat.

The game is currently in Steam's Greenlight, where it's enjoying number one status, and it'll no doubt be another big hit for Scott Cawthon, the game's creator. Have a look at the teaser below.
