SBIFF - Cinema Vanguard Award Honoring Eddie Redmayne & Felicity Jones

Last night the audience in the Arlington Theatre enthusiastically welcomed Academy Award nominees Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones and were treated to a funny and revealing evening. While speaking of beginning their respective careers, both acknowledged their acting education, and how their ‘on the job training’ was to come from the expansive caliber of actors that they have worked with. Each shared the pure fear they experienced and yet realized that it made them better actors. Wickedly witty, explaining their process revealed to all in attendance that these actors have only just begun. The evening concluded with screenwriter Anthony McCarten hailing the obvious chemistry between these two humble and talent actors and presented them with the Cinema Vanguard Award.
