And like the first flakes of snow descending from the Old Gods’ heavens, winter is here. But that also means spring will arrive shortly and with it, Game of Thrones season five!
Indeed, the excitement over a return to Westeros has fans hyped beyond even red priestess belief for the new season — causing a few anxious viewers, who glimpsed the Game of Thrones trailer early at last night’s IMAX showing, to brashly leak the video of it online. But oh, summer child, if you watched it off someone’s iPhone, you know nothing of patience or the glories of high-definition goodness…until now.
Here is the trailer where you can can glimpse the epic quality that will be Game of Thrones’ fifth yearm including our first image of Tyrion Lannister’s big bushy beard and his quest to meet…Daenerys Targaryen? Jorah Mormont is apparently fighting as a gladiator, and Arya Stark has reached her goal. Even Sansa looks battle ready, albeit for a different kind of war as she gets a pep talk from the scheming Littlefinger.
It’s a lot to take in, but ye be warned, here there are dragons.
