The Lost River Trailer
Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the first trailer for Lost River, the directorial debut of Ryan Gosling (The Ides of March, Only God Forgives). Check it out in the player below!
Formerly titled How to Catch a Monster, Lost River weaves elements of fantasy noir and suspense into a modern day fairytale. Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city, Billy, a single mother of two, is swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.
Starring Eva Mendes (The Place Beyond the Pines, The Other Guys), Saoirse Ronan (Hanna, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Christina Hendricks (Drive, “Mad Men”) and Matt Smith (“Doctor Who,” Terminator Genisys), Lost River is set to arrive in theaters on April 10 and will also be made available via Digital HD the same day.
Gosling himself is already back on the other side of the camera. He’s currently shooting Shane Black’s The Nice Guys opposite Russell Crowe.
Lost River is produced by Marc Platt and Adam Siegel on behalf of Marc Platt Productions, along with Gosling himself via his Phantasma Films banner, and Michel Litvak and David Lancaster via the Bold Films banner.
