Elizabeth Banks, who co-starred in the original film, has also taken on directorial duties for Pitch Perfect 2, and Kay Cannon has returned to write the screenplay. The film stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Katey Sagal, Ben Platt, Alexis Knapp, Hanna Mae Lee, John Hodgman, John Michael Higgins, and Elizabeth Banks.
