With a title like House of Cards, it was only a matter of time before something in the deck began to wobble. However, after several new teasers promising unspoken acrimony between President Frank Underwood and his usually devoted First Lady Macbeth, it appears that it will be the Queen of Hearts that begins to pull away.
If you had asked me before if Clare Underwood (Robin Wright) was the person closest to Frank that would begin doubting his ethics, I would have told them that there is a Washington D.C. metro track with their name on it. But, just look at the below video and breathe in the fumes of that crushed cigarette.
In House of Cards season three, Francis (Spacey) and Claire (Wright) Underwood have now reached the top their unabashed power rise to the White House. But now with threats on all sides, that rarified air is becoming quite thin. Season three also features Kim Dickens in an unspecified role and Jenna Stern as the ambassador at the United Nations. Based on the BBC miniseries of the same name, House of Cards returns with all new episodes to Netflix on Friday, Feb. 27th at 12:01 am on Netflix.
