Bloodborne story trailer
Here's a new trailer for upcoming PS4 exclusive, Bloodborne, and it tells the story of the cursed city of Yharnam...
The Souls series of games has become a major hit for developer, From Software, and it all started with the Sony-exclusive release, Demon's Souls on PS3. From humble beginnings, the game blossomed into an awarding-winning franchise in Dark Souls, and this years sees the series return to its PlayStation exclusivity, albeit spiritually.
Not based upon either Demons or Dark Souls, Bloodborne is set to be a totally new game, with its own story, characters, and setting. Whilst it'll feature many of the loved mechanics from the Souls series, it'll also sport faster, more aggressive combat, expanded multiplayer, including randomly generated multiplayer dungeons, and a far darker style, with a Gothic, Victorian setting.
Unsurprisingly, it's become one of the most highly anticipated releases for the PS4 in 2015, and below you can see the latest story trailer (via IGN) that gives us a little bit more lore, and background on the city of Yharnam, and the monsters, and hunters that exist within.
Bloodborne will be released for PlayStation 4 on March 24, 2015.
