Avengers: Age of Ultron New Poster is Hideous, but Reveals Details

We learned a few things from this absolutely hideous Avengers: Age of Ultron poster.

So, the poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron is so incredibly awful that it looks like it comes from a superhero parody film. Not that the first movie's poster was much to shout about. In fact, most of Marvel's posters are generally uninspiring.

But this one is special. It's a monstrosity.

It's not totally worthless, though. Thanks to this eyesore, we now can confirm that Anthony Mackie is in the film (hopefully in costume as the Falcon) and so is Agent Carter's Hayley Atwell (hopefully in flashback). Interestingly enough, Danny Elfman gets a music credit here. Perhaps he exercised the little-known clause in his contract that dictates that no fewer than 40% of all superhero movies must have Danny Elfman music and that folks were falling behind in recent years.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in the US on May 1st. It will probably be better than this poster.
