Avengers: Age of Ultron Has a New Trailer….

Check out the new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron with all new footage of the superheroes, Ultron, and a Black Widow-Hulk romance!

In the new third trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, the titular robotic villain is voiced by James Spader with just the right amount of gleeful menace. In it, Ultron promises that the first thing he will do to human beings is take away their hope.

Poor Ultron, just by hissing those words, he’s given it to millions of superhero fans around the world in an instant.

At this point, Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon have to do little to get the fanboy hype building for Avengers: Age of Ultron, so this hyperkinetic bit of movie marketing eye candy is especially appreciated with plenty of pretty and expensive looking shots that were not in the last two previews. We see the Avengers standing shoulder to shoulder as the waves of AI robots come calling, and we also glimpse Quicksilver give a dastardly fast sucker punch to an unsuspecting Captain America. And finally we see that while SHIELD is down, Nick Fury is never out of the picture long enough to not whip these superhero grunts back into shape. It appears that after a bad defeat, they will go to Fury’s country home to build up their stamina (and a Hulk-Black Widow romance?!) like it’s a superhero movie from 1990.

How can we not be excited?

Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and probably a kitchen sink at some point too. It opens on May 1, 2015.
