A good number of the films we've been looking forward to so far this year haven't turned out quite so well. Mortdecai? Best we don't talk about it. And even Michael Mann's Blackhat fell short of what we were hoping.
Here's hoping this one lives up to its potential, though.
We've been following Tarsem Singh's Selfless for a while, a movie that originally was set to be released last year. It stays Ryan Reynolds, Matthew Goode, Michelle Dockery and Ben Kingsley, and it tells the story of a very rich man dying from cancer, who undergoes an experimental medical procedure.
That procedure? It transfers his consciousness into the body of someone younger. Unfortunately, there are consequences to the body that he chose.
The film is due in cinemas at the end of July. The first trailer for the film has been released as well, and here's a flavor as to what to expect...
