The Deadpool Movie: First Official Image and Synopsis
We finally have a look at Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool movie costume...and he looks just like you'd expect!
Ryan Reynolds "bears" all as Deadpool for the Deadpool movie! Look, not only was that pun unavoidable, but that's how they worded it in the press release we just got. There's nothing that could be done. I'm sorry.
Anyway, this is our first non-computer generated look at Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in a movie since X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a movie that totally no longer counts towards anything thanks to X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Here's the official synopsis:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool opens on February 12th, 2016. It boasts a cast that includes Ed Skrein, TJ Miller, and Morena Baccarin. It's going to have lots of c-list X-Men characters in it. It's probably going to be pretty violent. We can't wait.
