Scream TV Series: First Trailer Lands Online
“You can’t do a slasher movie as a TV series,” the trailer for MTV’s Scream adaptation tells us…
As far as we can remember, there hasn’t been a TV series before with enough confidence to slag off its own premise in the first footage ever presented for promotional purposes. (If you can think of one, please do tell.)
That’s exactly what MTV’s adaptation of Scream has offered, though, knowingly telling us that “you can’t do a slasher movie as a TV series.”

No sign of Ghostface yet, then, but plenty of attractive young people getting murdered, meaning that the Scream mythos isn't being completely ignored. We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this one, as we’re not quite sure what to make of it yet.
