GTA V: PC mod lets you punch cars like a mad Superman

A new mod for Grand Theft Auto V gives you the strength of a Kryptonian. Video evidence within...

The Grand Theft Auto series has long given us plenty to play around with by default, but one of the great things about the PC version is the imaginative mod community that reliably springs up around each release.

Mere weeks after Grand Theft Auto V's launch on PC, an updated version of Open IV allows users to poke around inside the game's files. A more powerful set of tools is likely to emerge very soon.

And then there's Lingon, who's something of a genius when it comes to making mods for PC games. His latest effort for Grand Theft Auto V grants players the strength of Superman and the speed of, er, The Wizard of Speed and Time.

Sure, GTA V's fun as it is, but imagine being able to punch a truck so hard that it'll fly through the air and pummel anything in its path. Imagine being able to use a car to play an impromptu game of human skittles - with an armed response team as your pins.

Well, imagine no longer. The YouTube channel CooljunkGaming (thanks, Kotaku) have already posted a couple of videos demonstrating the kind of japes you can get up to with Lingon's mod:

It all looks like jolly good fun. You can find out more at Lingon's website, though be warned: using mods with GTA V could get you in trouble with Rockstar, especially if you use them while playing online. Just thought we ought to mention it.
