First Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit Drops In

There’s something weird about Nana and Poppop in M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie.

Bedtime at 9:30? Are you kidding me? All the fun starts at 10:30, as any true Richard Pryor aficionado will remember. Grandma and grandpa are weird during the day, but at night they are really off their rockers. I don't wanna sleep in the oven.

Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan, who has twisted his endings since his sad horror debut The Sixth Sense, is spending a week with the kids on a remote Pennsylvania farm in his new Universal Pictures movie The Visit.

The director of Signs and Unbreakable is teaming with the producer of Paranormal Activity and The Purge, Jason Blum to twist the night away.

According to the official synopsis: “A brother and sister are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a week-long trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.

The Visit stars Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Erica Lynne Marszalek, Peter McRobbie, Olivia DeJonge, Deanna Dunagan, Benjamin Kanes, Jon Douglas Rainey, Brian Gildea, Shawn Gonzalez, Richard Barlow, Steve Annan, and Michael Mariano.

Shyamalan produces through his Blinding Edge Pictures. Blum produces through Blumhouse Productions. Steven Schneider (Insidious) and Ashwin Rajan (Devil) are executive producers.

The Visit will hit theaters on September 11th.
