Pixels New Trailer: Adam Sandler vs. Donkey Kong

Never let it be said that Adam Sandler does not know how to offer audiences plenty of what they love in trailers for his new movies. What once used to be funny voices and sarcastic remarks has waned at the box office. But when all else fails, 1980s nostalgia will not.
In the new trailer for Pixels, this summer's science-fiction comedy about a pixelated alien invasion, audiences get a deeper look at Sandler assembling a gang that also includes Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, and Michelle Monaghan to do battle with all of our video game dreams and fears...included the dreaded 900-pound gorilla himself, Mr. Donkey Kong.
As directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), Pixels finds a president (Kevin James) beseiged by intergalactic aliens who mistook satallite images of our video games to be a declaration of war. Thus faster than you can say Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, they have sent our childhood icons to destroy us. In desperation, the POTUS calls on his childhood arcade buddy who grew up to be a television installation expert (Sandler) to lead their old arcade hombres (Gad and Dinklage) to victory over the alien horde.
