Elementary school seems like it would be harder today than what most of us remember. Cell phones, social media, and just the way kids connect now. Plus, cooties. Deadly, deadly zombie infested cooties.
If you haven't heard about the last part, let Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan enlighten you in the below trailer. As the two writers and executive producers on the film, who also have writing credits on Saw, Insidious, and Glee between them, they have imagined a messed up world where kids carry a zombie virus brought about by (what else?) contaminated chicken nuggets in the school cafeteria. Faced with their students inciting a zombie apocalypse, it is up to Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, and Alison Pill--all teachers in the film--to band together and get to the end of the school day alive.
