Nintendo announced Monster Hunter X for 3DS during a Japan-only Direct presentation. It's the latest in the blockbuster series from Capcom. The company says the game will arrive in Winter 2015.

It goes without saying that Monster Hunter has really climbed the ranks in the past year or two as a Nintendo flagship. Once a PlayStation franchise, the series has made a very successful transition to the Big N.
Capcom's Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate are considered two of the best games on the Nintendo 3DS. And with good reason: the action RPG is full of addictive fights and behemoth monsters.
Monster Hunter X will hopefully do its predecessors justice.
