Tekken 7: Kazumi Mishima Trailer
Kazuya Mishima's father is known for catching hatchets with his teeth and headbutting robots, but his mother throws tigers at people!
It wouldn’t be a Tekken game if it wasn’t adding yet another name to the ever-expanding Mishima/Kazama family tree. Ever since debuting its first trailer, Namco’s let it be known that Tekken 7 will focus on Kazumi Mishima, the wife of series villain Heihachi Mishima, who has rarely ever been mentioned in any way. She’s the final boss in the game with both a normal and final Devil form, but now she’s going to be playable. Or at least, her regular form will be.

Heihachi has been wearing a tiger emblem on his back for years. I suppose now we know why. Meanwhile, while Street Fighter’s Sagat has a Tiger Uppercut attack, that has nothing on Kazumi’s LITERAL Tiger Uppercut!
Seriously, she summons a tiger to attack people. That is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard. No wonder Heihachi married her! He probably walked up to her, looked her in the eye and said, “I hear you throw tigers at people. Would you like to go get a coffee?” And the pickup line worked because it turns out she has a thing for buff Dr. Wily types.
Kazumi will be released on the Japanese arcade version of Tekken 7 on Tuesday, June 2nd. No word on how many more characters are left to be revealed, but with them going into final boss territory, I can’t imagine there are too many more.
