There's less than a month to go until 20th Century Fox's new take on Fantastic Four hits the silver screen. This is, of course, the second feature from Chronicle director Josh Trank, which stars Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell as its youthful quartet of superpowered heroes and Toby Kebbell as the villain, Victor von Doom.
Over the past few days, we've heard the news that the film will no longer be released in post-converted 3D, while Kebbell has laid to rest the persistent rumors - which, to be fair, he helped perpetuate himself at one point - that his take on Doctor Doom might be some sort of blogging computer programmer.
The central question, really, is whether Trank has managed to create a take on the comic books that is distinctive yet also faithful to the spirit of its source. We don't have too long to wait until we find the answer to that question - it's out on Aug. 7 - but until then, here's the brand new trailer...
