Bungie Teases Destiny Year Two with The Taken King Teaser

Ready for Destiny Year Two? Here are all the details of what to expect in The Taken King.

Destiny is about to reach the first year mark with it's next expansion, The Taken King, which arrives on Sept. 15. The game has already seen two expansions and plenty of updates to gameplay and other systems, some better received than others.

Whether you think it was a strong first year for the MMOFPS is a matter of opinion. What is fact is that Bungie's new IP is still going very strong and there are lots of plans for the year ahead.

Check out this teaser for Destiny: The Taken King and Year Two of the game:

The Taken King will add a new raid, three new strikes, updates to past strikes, a new race known as the Taken, and a new storyline featuring the Hive king Oryx, who we understand is a big badass. At least that's what the Destiny lore has been teasing these past few months. We'll soon find out.

There are also two new modes coming to the Crucible (PvP portion of the game): "Rift," which is a little bit of a mix between Capture-the-flag and neutral bomb modes that we've seen in things like Halo multiplayer, and "Mayhem," which turns you into a one-man killing machine, with faster reload and cooldown times.

We also have a full-length trailer for The Taken King as well:
