Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is finally happening. Yes, despite the previous film Resident Evil: Retribution ending with a major cliffhanger where all the surviving heroes from the previous five films joined forces on a besieged White House, we have yet to see the follow up on that promise. Albeit, it has been for mostly grand reasons since director Paul W.S. Anderson and his star and wife Milla Jovovich welcomed their second child into our blessedly zombie-free world.

But now Jovovich has taken to social media to confirm to her fans again that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the sixth and concluding installment of the movie franchise, is ready and rolling before cameras. Below, check out images Jovovich has released from the new film, including the actress putting on her “Alice” make-up while her husband and director waits in the wings.

Milla Jovovich leads some fan favorite casting for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which finds Alice and company taking the battle back to the Hive and other undead enemies as humanity makes its last stand. And that humanity includes a returning Bingbing Li as Ada, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine, and Johann Urb as Leon S. Kennedy.
