Halo 5: New Story & Gameplay Trailers
Microsoft has released new footage of Halo 5: Guardians, including a clip of one of the story missions!
Halo 5: Guardians, the next installment in the beloved sci-fi franchise, is fastly approaching. New stories, characters, and worlds are ready to take the stage in a never-ending conflict to save the galaxy or take control of it.
At the center of the story are Master Chief's Blue Team, a group of Spartans that have gone AWOL, and Agent Locke's Fireteam Osiris, who have been tasked with finding Chief and the others. Osiris will also have to deal with a Covenant Civil War, which rages on as the Arbiter seeks to free his race from the oppressive and fanatic government.
Based on two new trailers, it looks like Osiris will fight alongside the Arbiter during their adventure and aid the Elites in their fight against the Covenant remnant.
This first trailer is a bit of developer commentary on the game's story:
The second video is gameplay footage from one of the story missions, "Swords of Sanghelios," in which Osiris is dropped onto the Elite homeworld to defend it from the invading Covenant forces. It's pretty cool:
